You could be owed some money<\/h1>\n<p>By\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.journal-news.com\/business\/personal-finance\/bought-procter-gamble-align-probiotic-you-could-owed-some-money\/5hixMt3CSJojte98KKMJcM\/\">Craig Johnson<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Procter & Gamble recently reached a settlement in a class action lawsuit involving the marketing and advertising of its probiotic supplements under the Align brand.<\/p>\n<p>In October of 2017, the Cincinnati, Ohio-based company agreed to pay $30 million to settle a class action lawsuit brought against it by three plaintiffs who purchased Align.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"popup_SDLM\" data-toggle=\"modal\" data-target=\"#popup_SDLM_modal\" href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/button_banner-SDLM.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The trio claimed that the company used deceptive marketing and false advertising when it promoted Align as \u201cclinically proven\u201d to help digestive health, according to a filing.<\/p>\n<p>Despite settling in the case, P&G for its part, does not admit to any wrongdoing and still steadfastly denies that it engaged in underhanded practices of any kind.
