From the Desk of Chip Cooper, Esq.
Amelia Island, FL

Dear Service Provider Marketer,

If you’d like to get better, higher-paying customers, this is the most important letter you’ll read today.

There’s a new paradigm for getting new customers. The strategy is so new and out-of-the-box, you’ve never thought of it.

Here’s What You’ll Get

This is the break-through, game-changing approach to getting new customers you’ve been looking for.

You’ve always known the bedrock marketing principle: above all else, develop “know, like & trust” with customers and prospects.

You may not know it yet, but your old tried and true methods of developing “know, like and trust” have changed.

You’ll learn why your customers and prospects now hold online businesses to new and higher standards for developing trust than ever before. [Hint: remember the Cambridge Analytica scandal that rocked Facebook in 20017 and all the publicity surrounding the international ramifications of the EU GDPR regulations in 2018?]

You’ll learn why 39% of your customers and prospects now look for a privacy seal before deciding whether to trust.

But there’s more to it than simply having a privacy shield.

You’ll learn the secrets of how to upgrade your brand in a way that will resonate positively to your customers’ and prospects’ new expectations… a new approach that will change the paradigm in your favor for attracting and retaining the better, higher-paying customers you need to elevate your business to new heights.

You’ll finally be able to build a real “trust” relationship with prospects and customers that’ll differentiate you from your competitors.

Imagine your financial success and career satisfaction reaching levels you’ve only dreamed about.

Your customers will treat you with greater respect. You’ll have the confidence that they know you, like you, and trust you. They’ll really appreciate how you operate your business. And they’ll let you know it.

I’ll explain exactly what to do, how to do it, and why.

Plus, it’s a quick, easy read… just 89 pages, with checklists, diagrams, and images that communicate clearly. You can finish it in half a day.

Here’s just a fraction of what’s inside and what it might mean for your service business, and career.

Best News Ever: Your competitors won’t know it, but they’ll be practically driving new business to you as you read this.

Why?

Because they’re still making the same old mistakes. Focusing only on extracting pain points and forcing prospects through a funnel will only get you so far.

You’ll be competing with them on a whole new level. They won’t even understand how to compete with you effectively.

I’ll explain exactly what it means – from the point of view of your customers and prospects – to know, like, and trust you… beginning on page 2.

It’s essential that you have a clear understanding of the critical difference between marketing and branding. Checklists on page 6.

I’ll share answers to one of the great questions beginning on page 8: Does your website and business pass the new eyeball test? You’ll learn how to answer, “Yes”. This is so important because you’ll be addressing the new concerns and worries your customers and prospects have.

3 true case studies beginning on page 30 explain exactly how to avoid the critical pitfalls that sabotaged other service businesses.

How about a blueprint for success? I’ll walk you through a present-day, incredibly successful case study and reveal exactly how this is done, why it works, and the exact steps you can take to alter the course of your business. (Page 75).

It’s Not the Typical “Marketing” Hype

Forget the typical “marketing” hype you’ve heard so many times before (and you’re sick of). This new approach cracks the code for attracting and retaining the better, higher-paying customers you want.

No more worries about chasing the next “shiny object”. This frustrating practice will be in your rear-view mirror… for good.

Your Next Steps

Look, I’ll give you the book totally FREE, just do me a favor and cover the printing and shipping, that’s all I ask.

Why only $7.97?

It’s simple, that’s my cost to print and deliver it to you in physical form. I believe it’s so important for you to have this information that I want to make it available to you at my cost.

But I want you to have access to it right now. When you place your order today, you’ll get a link in your email receipt so you can download it in PDF format and get it immediately.

So, the total “cost” of the book is just $7.97, that’s for the shipping and handling, and I’ll also make sure you get a link to the PDF download, so you don’t have to wait to start digging in.

Expect maybe 2 weeks for delivery of the physical book, at the most.

It’s Important to Act Now

And let me tell you why…

People are coming out of the woodwork these days… Everyone's claiming to be a “digital marketing master” and offering the next “shiny object”, and quiet honestly, most of them are crap.

Trust me when I tell you… You don't want to chase prospects with the next “shiny object”. You want to be able to swing for the fence and get the BEST highest paying customers. Right?

So you definitely want to avoid being a late adopter. When you act now, you’ll get the jump on your competition.

Long before your competitors even get a clue about why you’re so successful, and landing better customers, you’ll be well on your way to building your highly regarded information product business and career.

Guarantee

We know you’ll profit from the book. However, if you don’t, you can just keep it. Email the address on your receipt, and we’ll refund your $7.97.

No questions asked.

This Really is an Amazing Offer

Claim Your Copy Now

Send Me The Book

Thanks for reading this letter.

Chip Cooper, Esq.

P.S. This is the summary:

I’m giving you an 89-page book that explains a new, game-changing way for you to attract and retain better, higher-paying customers. I explain exactly what to do, how to do it, and why. Your competitors won’t know how to compete with you.

No more worries about chasing the next “shiny object”. This frustrating practice will be in your rear-view mirror… for good.

All you pay is $7.97, which is just for the shipping and handling, and you’ll also get it instantly by PDF download so you can read it while we’re shipping the physical copy to you.

It a crucial step towards regulating and monitoring how much quantity of consumer data ISPs can collect

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has reportedly announced that it will be investigating the privacy practices of various internet service providers by requesting big companies like Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T to provide non-public information explaining how they manage consumer data.

Apparently, it is one of the crucial steps towards regulating and monitoring about how much quantity of consumer data ISPs can collect and how extensively that data can be shared.

According to an FTC press release, it is conducting this study for better understanding of Internet service providers’ privacy practices in view of the advancement of telecommunication companies into vertically integrated platforms which provide content supported by advertising.

In Groundbreaking Settlements, Attorneys General Find Fake Social Media Engagement Illegal

By Tiffany Quach and Alexa Meera Singh

The Office of the New York Attorney General (“NY AG”) and the Office of the Florida Attorney General (“Florida AG”) announced settlements with Devumi LLC and its offshoot companies (“Devumi”), which sold fake social media engagement, such as followers, likes and views, on various social media platforms. According to the NY AG, such social media engagement is fake in that “it purports to reflect the activity and authentic favor of actual people on the platform, when in fact the activity was not generated by actual people and/or does not reflect genuine interest.”

These settlements are the first in the United States to find that selling fake social media engagement constitutes illegal deception and that using stolen social media identities to engage in online activity is illegal. The NY AG emphasized that the New York settlement sends a “clear message that anyone profiting off of deception and impersonation is breaking the law and will be held accountable.”

Devumi grossed $15 million dollars from 2015 to 2017 by selling fake social media engagement through bots and “sock puppet” accounts. A sock puppet account is the account of one person who is pretending to be many others. In other words, it is multiple accounts controlled by the same user. Some of the fake accounts used real social media profiles without the profile owner’s consent or knowledge.

The company also sold endorsements from social media “influencers” without disclosing that the endorsements were paid for. An influencer is a social media user with a substantial following, who monetizes their online popularity by endorsing goods, services and events to their followers.

The fear of being hacked was allegedly the hook used by Office Depot, its subsidiary OfficeMax, and a California tech-support vendor to dupe customers into paying for computer repairs and technical services they didn’t need, according to the Federal Trade Commission.

Although not admitting any wrongdoing, Office Depot and Support.com Inc. have agreed to pay $35 million to settle the claim they deceived customers into believing their computers were infected with malware and vulnerable to other security threats.

The FTC alleged that from at least 2009 to late 2016, the companies would offer customers a free “PC Health Check Program” to determine if their computers had any performance problems.

But the real purpose was to aggressively sell diagnostic and repair services to customers that, in many cases, they didn’t need, according to Claire Wack, the FTC’s lead attorney on the case.

The Price for ‘Predatory’ Publishing? $50 Million

By Alex Brandon/Associated Press

Following a complaint by the F.T.C., a federal judge has ordered a large publisher of online scientific journals to change its business practices — and to pay an enormous judgment.

In the world of scientific research, they are pernicious impostors. So-called predatory journals, online publications with official-sounding names, publish virtually anything, even gibberish, that an academic researcher submits — for a fee.

Critics have long maintained that these journals are eroding scientific credibility and wasting grant money. But academics must publish research to further their careers, and the number of questionable outlets has exploded.

Now the Federal Trade Commission has stepped in, announcing on Wednesday that it has won a $50 million court judgment against Omics International of Hyderabad, India, and its owner, Srinubabu Gedela.

Omics publishes hundreds of journals in such areas as medicine, chemistry, and engineering. It also organizes conferences. The F.T.C. claimed that Omics violated the agency’s prohibition on deceptive business practices.

Food delivery services can be a convenience for people with busy lives. Free trial offers and online reviews can help people decide which service they want to use.

But when reviews are deliberately skewed and subscription terms are hidden, that’s not just unhelpful. It’s against the law.

The FTC announced a settlement with UrthBox, Inc., a California-based food delivery service, and its owner, Behnam Behrouzi.

According to the FTC, UrthBox offered customers incentives, including free snack boxes, to post positive reviews online. But the company didn’t clearly tell people that customers who posted those reviews were rewarded.

Your car is watching you. Who owns the data?

By Gopal Ratnam

If you’re driving a late model car or truck, chances are that the vehicle is mostly computers on wheels, collecting and wirelessly transmitting vast quantities of data to the car manufacturer not just on vehicle performance but personal information, too, such as your weight, the restaurants you visit, your music tastes and places you go.

A car can generate about 25 gigabytes of data every hour and as much as 4,000 gigabytes a day, according to some estimates. The data trove in the hands of car makers could be worth as much as $750 billion by 2030, the consulting firm McKinsey has estimated. But consumer groups, aftermarket repair shops and privacy advocates say the data belongs to the car’s owners and the information should be subject to data privacy laws.

Yet Congress has yet to pass comprehensive federal data privacy legislation. And although Sen. Roger Wicker of Mississippi, chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, has said he would like to see federal privacy legislation passed by the end of the year, it is unclear if that goal can be met.

Consumers are right to be concerned that, unknown to them, data collected by car companies could be shared with law enforcement agencies, just as online ancestry registries have shared DNA information with investigators, said Sally Greenberg, executive director of the National Consumers League. Drivers who connect their smartphones and other devices via Bluetooth to their cars could be sharing their entertainment and eating habits as well as their entire contacts list with the car’s manufacturer, or with a rental car company, Greenberg said.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and the Federal Trade Commission announced a settlement with sham charity Disabled Police and Sheriffs Foundation, and its founder, David Kenik

Disabled Police and Sheriffs Foundation, and its founder, Kenik, collected almost $10 million in donations from 2013 through 2017 allegedly to provide assistance to disabled officers and relief to families of officers killed in the line of duty. Instead, Kenik spent the vast majority of contributions to profit himself and private individuals he hired instead of on charitable programs.

The settlement will be for $9,932,323, with all of that suspended except for $100,000, due to defendants’ inability to pay. The $100,000 will be distributed to a legitimate charity whose charitable purpose is substantially similar to the purpose for which defendants solicited funds, as recommended by Schmitt’s office and approved by the court. Kenik will also be banned from soliciting charitable contributions and must cooperate with any further investigations into his actions.

Two U.S. senators introduced a bipartisan bill that would ban “manipulative” design features and prompts that let large websites such as Alphabet’s Google or Facebook “trick consumers into handing over their personal data.”

Democratic Senator Mark Warner and Republican Senator Deb Fischer introduced the bill on so-called “dark patterns” on Tuesday, according to a news release from Warner’s office. Such features, based on behavioral psychology, include pre-checked boxes or pop-ups in the middle of an activity—such as an e-commerce purchase or reading a story online—that prompt users to consent to the collection of personal data.

The bill, which would only apply to websites with more than 100 million monthly active users, comes as anger with large internet platforms has led to rising calls for regulation. Although the bill introduced Tuesday is bipartisan, key committees that would have to legislate on the issue have not yet picked up the effort. So far, congressional efforts to pass a national privacy law have gained the most momentum with lawmakers.

“For years, social media platforms have been relying on all sorts of tricks and tools to convince users to hand over their personal data without really understanding what they are consenting to,” Warner, who serves as vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in a statement. The legislation is dubbed DETOUR, for “Deceptive Experiences to Online Users Reduction” Act.

The agencies claim that three companies — Nutra Pure, PotNetwork Holdings, and Advanced Spine and Pain — are falsely advertising the effectiveness of supplements that contain cannabidiol, commonly known as CBD. The products are marketed under names such as “Hemp Oil,” “CBD Softgels,” “CBD for Dogs,” “Liquid Gold Gummies,” and “CBD Oil.” One company in particular — Nutra Pure — advertises that scientific research supports their claims that their CBD product is an effective anti-seizure medication.
